We got to meet this fabulous person on the weekend after our daughter had brain surgery. The staff of the unit are fantastic, but we really clicked with Nirmala. She is so knowledgeable and experienced, but also caring and approachable. It was really nice to share this trying time with her. Having such a personable and competent nurse watching over your loved one, but also watching over you is very calming and reassuring. 

Her years of experience and knowledge are invaluable to her patients and their family members. She was willing to share her knowledge, so we were better prepared for what might be coming and also for what was normal or expected. All that was a great help.

Nirmala was assigned to us for 2-3 days, but she also checked in on us on the one day she had other responsibilities. She was a sweet smile and a kind, positive presence whenever she came through the door.

Very professional, but not cold or rigid. She was warm and so kind, a joy to help us through a very difficult time. She also had a strength to help us understand what we need to do to help our loved one to heal, when we need to stand up for what is best for our daughter.
