Where do I begin, with an eight month inpatient stay, Nolan stayed with us through the good and the bad. He is always a friendly face when he enters the room. With a warm smile, he'd strike up a meaningful conversation, as well as leaned as ear to listen to what you had to say. Nolan would keep you involved in what was going on in your child's treatment, and explain what it is he was doing.
From playing with my child to watching movies and doing crafts with my child, he was always providing what my child needed the most depending on what the situation called for. Whether it was providing comfort during pain or nausea, to just holding a hand or rubbing a leg to sooth my child's anxiety. Nolan was also the rock to lean on when we needed it most, from loaning a shoulder to cry on or give encouragement to keep us going.
Nolan was efficient on giving my child's medicines to keeping up with orders given by the team. If there was a concern he would make sure it was addressed to the team.
Most importantly Nolan took care of my child as if he was his own. Now my child and I have a friend.
