My mother fell and broke her hip and then needed a pacemaker the following day. She was brought to ICU. Her nurse, Nyrva, was outstanding. To name a few observations: attentive, comforting, informative, personable, caring, warm, thoughtful, relatable, professional, and sensitive.
I have a loud father who can be politically incorrect and have a foul mouth. I warned Nyrva. She was so good with him. She gave me and my sister her phone number to ease any concerns when he had to leave. She kept us updated at all times. My mother loved her and told her so.
Nyrva was honored to hold our hands while in a circle over our mom in prayer. She brought us such comfort and peace. We never had to look for her. She was the best!
