Olga Carina Hall is an exceptional Trauma ICU nurse. She always has a smile and strives to provide an excellent standard of care. She recently had a patient that was confused after a car accident and there was no family available. Carina repeatedly made phone calls to a cell phone and to his wife's place of employment to contact someone. She found out later that the patient's confusion lead to giving incorrect numbers and names.

Last week Carina was taking care of a patient and found out that his father, from another country, did not have a place to stay. She made arrangements with the Kieshnick house for him and called a cab for him, which she paid for, because he also did not have transportation.

She has been known to come in on her day off to bring paralyzed patients their favorite treats and help them with additional hygiene needs. This continues even after the patient has been transferred out of the ICU. She worked with a patient several times after his being transferred to the floor and taught him guided imagery techniques to help with his chronic pain and anxiety.

Carina is a pleasure to work with and is at the top of the list of nurses that I would want caring for my own loved ones.
