Olivia cared for my son in the ICU and also on the second floor. When a potential allergic reaction happened, she was right on it and handled everything with confidence and professionalism. She took time to explain things to me and answer questions about his care, medications, and possible transfer. She was kind and compassionate, and she gave me peace of mind knowing she was very confident and knowledgeable about her job. She is an outstanding nurse, and OMC is blessed to have her.

I was in the ICU over the weekend and was very grateful to have Olivia as my nurse. I was so impressed with her attention to detail, level of caring and engagement, and incredible knowledge about my condition, what I was going through, and what I should expect. 

She has a wonderful and efficient relationship with the doctors and other nurses.  She was extremely thorough when dealing with my meds and my tests and discussing my results and next steps. 

She was very respectful and compassionate and included my husband in all the conversations, even printing extra materials so he could read and research. 

She checked and double-checked everything and was very quick to solve problems and get answers. I was especially grateful at the end of the day, just before we were discharged when she spent a lot of time making sure that we found a pharmacy that could fill my prescriptions on the way home on a Sunday (my normal pharmacy was closed). She also ensured the pharmacy had my insurance info so we would be charged the lowest cost. 

I always felt like my situation was important to Olivia and that she spent as much time as needed for me to be comfortable – even though she had many other patients. 

Olivia is such an amazing nurse and human being.
