From the first night I was admitted up until the day I was released, Pam was here for me. She made sure that I was not in pain while also protecting me from an addiction to strong pain killers. She went above and beyond the call of duty. I felt like a family member instead of a number. It was wonderful. She maintains a wonderful disposition at all times. Comforting me after the amputation was crucial to my mental well-being and she answered that call. Because of Pam and a select few of her colleagues, this was the best experience I have ever had in a hospital (and I have spent the better part of my life in them). She definitely needs to be recognized for her dedication and commitment to her patient's well-being.

Pam Butler took care of me. She didn't judge me because of my problems. She treated me with respect. She sat and talked to me and encouraged me to stay strong. She always came into my room with a smile on her face. She is the kind of nurse that all patients deserve and the kind of nurse other nurses should be like.

Pam was so kind and comforting to us and got his meds all ordered from his doctor that he takes at home. Also, she kept a check on his breathing (which was the reason for his hospital stay). She was so good to us.
