Pam made me feel like I was being taken care of by a loving and caring family member.
I would like to let everyone know how unbelievably helpful Pam was in aiding in my care in the CCU Unit. She was such a professional in her duties in caring for me, but it was the personal caring and compassion she chose to show me that went above and beyond her actual job. She took it upon herself to make sure everything that involved my care was done above and beyond from rechecking a doctor's order for clarity to the lunch tray being replaced due to the inaccuracy of the order being received. Her personal acts of caring and genuine concern for my well-being superseded anything I would have ever imagined in a hospital setting. She made me feel like I was being taken care of by a loving and caring family member. She not only did this for me but as I watched her work and could hear her interact with other staff that I realized that her gestures of kindness and her need to ensure accuracy weren't just for me, she did this all day, every day, for all of her patients. It is my hope that this wonderful nurse is appreciated and recognized for her selfless acts of kindness and her obvious desire to help everyone not go un-noticed. She is a true asset to LNRMC and her profession.
