Comments were made by several patients as follows:
Pam is always there to watch you and make sure you are not over doing your exercise.
Pam watches with concern. She watches our progress and gives us personal time and she really cares as do all the nurses in Rehab.
Pam is excellent to be around, excellent at her job. Always checking on my progress. She is an excellent person.
Pam is caring, compassionate and observant. She says "Hello" and acknowledges you!
I have been coming in every other day since 1999. She is polite, caring and patient. She will discuss medical problems and explain clearly. She observes patient confidentiality and is aware of her professional standards. I enjoy coming in and seeing her.
Always concerned with patients. If she feels a patient is not taking his/her meds, Pam will tell the patient the importance of taking one's medications and insist the patient follows the doctor's orders.
I had low sugar (38). Pam was very helpful in helping me raise my sugar level. Pam is a wonderful person to be around and does her job well.
Pam has always welcomed me in the rehab center and made me feel a part of their "family." She is an outstanding caregiver.
Pam's quiet and efficient manner sets just the right tone for a cardiac rehab. She gets the job done, teaches and consults each person in a very friendly way. I admire the tone she sets, a very professional one, while she responds to all who are in the room.
Pam is very caring, prompt and very conscientious in her work. She offers help in explaining medical questions you might have.
She consistently met all of the following criteria for The DAISY Award:
My nurse has made a huge difference
My nurse did an excellent job educating me and my family
My nurse always included me and my family in my plan of care.
My nurse was caring and spent time with me - lots of time.
