I was a patient on unit 1200 East Campus Hospital. This was my first time ever being a patient in the hospital. I have been in the medical field my entire career and currently work as a respiratory therapist.
First of all, I want to say what an outstanding job the entire staff from nursing to housekeeping. The cleanliness, kindness, and professionalism of everyone entering my room were remarkable. I truly felt I'm in 100% capable hands. The reason Pamela Brunner stood out to me however was she had an innate gentleness, kindness, compassion, professionalism, high standard of ethical care that you don't learn, you just have. It can't be taught but it can definitely be role modeled. She was so sweet, attentive, and patient even on her 4th 12 -hour night shift. She was the epitome of what a nurse should be.
