I have watched Pat during the moving of ED, renovation, and moving back. I have never seen her without a smile on her face, even all the times she is here until 9 or 10 pm. You can see her many times in the ED working with patients, stripping beds and remaking them for the next patient. No job is too big or too small for Pat to handle. One night she was even sweeping the floor where someone had tracked in dirt when Housekeeping could have been called. Pat saw something that needed to be done and instead of bothering someone else, she found a broom and did it herself.
Pat is always professional to the patients and to all the staff. Her medical knowledge always amazes me. I have often heard her explaining medical terms to patients if they didn't quite understand what the doctor said. She is so kind and genuine to everyone, and you can definitely tell she is here because she loves what she does and she loves the patients. She is a true role model!
