We had a patient who needed a critical medication to regulate his heart rhythm. Trish Hamilton spoke with the patient and his wife, and they expressed concern over the cost of the medication. Trish researched and found a pharmacy that carried this medication at the most affordable price and she also found an online coupon that would help offset some of the cost. The patient did not have internet access and lives about 50 miles away from the office and would not be able to pick up the coupon in a timely fashion or print it out; Trish printed the coupon and met the patient and his wife in a public area near the patient's residence. This is only one example of how Trish goes above and beyond for patients on a regular basis.
