Whether caring for an elderly man with a fractured hip, a small child with asthma, or an intoxicated homeless patient, Patrick delivers the same professional, non-judgmental, compassionate care. His even temperament and sense of humor help calm patients who are frightened, agitated, or in pain. "He is very compassionate in his care for dying patients and their family."
Medics brought in a homeless patient, a frequent ED visitor-Patrick welcomed him back, treated him with the utmost respect, initiated the required studies, and placed him in a room. The patient told the ED physician how welcomed Patrick made him feel and how he appreciated his kind care.
