In 5 years I've had 12 emergency surgeries, some requiring lengthy stays. Patrick was my "listening ear" with compassion, grace, and kindness many times while admitted to the hospital. I suffer from anxiety and Patrick remains patient with me even during anxiety attacks. He is a gem amongst your nurses. He takes the time to help the patients feel "heard" and for me, that has helped me so much. Nurses like him are gems to the medical community.
