After our stay at the Day Surgery Unit, the second part of our duty was to go to the Endoscopy Unit. Our nurse toured us in the unit, and we met Sir Patrick, who guided us and taught us different information about colonoscopy and endoscopy. He was so knowledgeable and explained what he knew to us in a way that we would easily understand. We all got the chance to observe a patient who had undergone an EGD and colonoscopy. During the procedure, he explained thoroughly everything.

We are so amazed at how all the anatomy and physiology we read in books came to life. He is not just good at teaching but also respected in the unit. He treats everyone fairly and leads like a father. We liked that everybody looked up to him, and he explained to us what was going on in every procedure. He also mentioned the responsibility of an endoscopy nurse, and we understood all of the information shared with us. I will take this memory to heart.
