Our son's fiancé was in the hospital 26 days. Patrick acted like he was a member of her own family. He was extremely caring, kind and compassionate with every single interaction we had with him. He explained everything he was doing, answered every question and was very patient with all of us. As things started to improve, he was as excited as we were. When things weren't going very well, he came in on his day off to check on her. It is very obvious that he views his job as much more than a job. You should be very proud of him. I have been taken care of by many, many nurses. Through all of my hospitalizations, I have never had a nurse like Patrick.
