I was not feeling well and got some very bad news from my kids. I was extremely upset and had an almost full on panic attack. I was crying and trying to settle myself down when Paul walked into the room and saw how upset I was. He was very sweet and asked if he could help. He made a few jokes, which made me laugh and we talked through everything. He was able to calm me down and find humor in it all. He never made me feel embarrassed even though I was. He is extremely smart and explains what is going on with the plasmapheresis, IVIG, and Rituxan how it affects the body, very interesting. We talked about other things, his family, mine, with many jokes and laughs along the way. He is such a joy and always lifts my mood up when I have the pleasure to get him as my nurse. He remembers everything about me and my kids from 2 ½ years ago when I saw him last. He's very special.
