Our 20-year-old son had a couple of long hospital stays through his transplant. All of his nurses were wonderful with him, my husband, and me. They were so personable and caring. Doing anything above and beyond to keep all of us comfortable in this stressful time. They took the time to explain to us any questions we had or would find out the answers to immediately. They were so good with our son, and he loved joking around with them. All the back and forth on his Nintendo games and movies really helped him feel like he was with friends, and he developed a relationship with each one. This made his time at the hospital go by much faster and I believe kept his spirits up for faster healing. They all go above and beyond and put the patients and their families first, which really shows.
