I was admitted to ICU. One of the nurse who took care of me was Peeraya. She is not only professional nurse but also practice with passion and care. On day 2 after CABG surgery, I really needed to pull out the endotracheal tube. Peeraya explained to me clearly about risks and benefit of removing tube at that time, the plan of care and others details. Moreover, she told me to be patient, encouraged me to follow the treatment plan. I was very impressed of her care. Finally, at the end of that day the tube was removed. I felt very happy. After I was transferred to inpatient ward, I still came back to ICU to say hello to Peeraya. I told the ICU manager that "today I have recovered from surgery and can walk because of the excellence care from Peeraya and I would have never forgotten her for the rest of my life.
