My daughter M is a developmentally disabled young adult who requires infusion therapy once each month. Peggy has been her primary care nurse in the Expanded Care unit for over a year. Peggy goes out of her way to reassure my daughter, chatting with her and generally engaging her in conversations. M is comfortable coming for her infusions, in fact looks forward to them instead of dreading them. When M received her port, Peggy went out of her way to answer our questions, she takes care of her quarterly blood draws (saving me a trip to the cancer center for the blood draw), and generally provides assurance that all is well.

I have a demanding job that often requires I attend mandatory meetings, there have been a few times that scheduled meetings have conflicted with M's scheduled appointments. I know I can drop her off and Peggy is willing to meet her at the door and more importantly I know I don't have to worry about her. There are no others that I would feel comfortable doing this rather than rescheduling.

We have been with Carle since she was born, this is the first time I've felt compelled to formally say Thank you for all that you've done and continue to do in support of M and Me.
