Her team respects her, listens to her, and supports her with whatever she needs, just like she does for her team.
Rachel is the Clinical Lead for Abingdon MIU - she has such compassion for her patients but even more so for her staff.
Rachel is the type of Line Manager you can approach about everything, knowing you'll get empathy, support but also the aspect of being a Clinical Lead.
Rachel has improved the service in many ways, including bringing in a children's play area in the Abingdon waiting area, along with ceiling TV screens for children to help keep them calm whilst visiting the hospital.
Rachel is a fantastic nurse, full of knowledge, but also a brilliant, supportive Clinical Lead. Her team respects her, listens to her, and supports her with whatever she needs, just like she does for her team. Rachel is highly respected as a line manager and as a nurse. If you're on shift with Rachel, you know it'll be a calm shift environment.
Rachel deserves this award, after working for the service for many many years and is still going the extra mile every day.
