Our first encounter with Rachel was exceptional! She started off her shift not knowing what she was walking into. Utter chaos. I was in extreme pain at a 9 to 10 level. She handled the situation with compassion, grace, and class! She had her fingers on the pulse and was Johnny on the spot every 2 hours throughout her shift administering my pain meds. She was proactive in every way, dealing with ridiculousness. The bottom line at the end of her shift she had me resting comfortably knocking my pain down to a 3 to 5 level. She made me feel like I was her only patient with personalized care and attention to detail! I would NOT have made it through the night without her!! Condell is LUCKY to have her!

God blessed me again with a second consecutive night under Rachel's wings! She is a Rockstar and professional in every aspect of caring for my needs! Apparently she was here early before her shift started and noticed we were being held back (my husband and I). You guys preach, "get out of bed, get moving, walking, whatever", but to achieve this process is a huge chaotic undertaking. I was labeled as a fall risk and fully understand why the hospital takes this precaution. But not every patient is the same. In our case, my husband and I were extremely low risk. Rachel recognized this and adapted to change and was flexible to give me a chance to walk with my husband's help. In doing so, she expedited the process which allowed us more freedom which resulted in more walks and less time waiting around for our PCT. And in case you don't realize, I will point out the otherwise obvious here, which is, because of Rachel's willingness to listen to, accept the change and respond intelligently to our need to be free to walk more opened up the flexibility of her and the PCT to spend more time with those patients who need it.

This awesome nurse recognized how much pain I was in last night and analyzed my medications and came up with a great plan. She made the calls to my physician and now my pain level is in the tolerable range. Her smile is real and makes the room better. Thank you, Nurse Rachel, for your care. Her communication was exceptional.

This professional and caring RN is a credit to her profession and this hospital. Rachel was concerned and involved in my surgical recovery-she cares and makes efforts above and beyond the call. Thank you, Rachel.
