Rachel was my nurse for hernia surgery, she was phenomenal on starting an IV and got it on the very first time. I have had people try five or six times to get it before. She was very informative on every step that was going on and very helpful. I was discharged after my surgery and as soon as I got home I noticed a big massive swelling and I returned to the hospital for another emergency surgery. Rachel was with me through the entire process for the emergency surgery and she was with me in the OR and recovery room and all the way up to the point where I was released to go home that evening. She was phenomenal at comforting me during the operating room because this procedure was emergency and I was awake for it. I was extremely scared and she did a phenomenal job comforting me through the whole process. This is the first nurse that I've ever had do this much for me through the whole entire surgery process from the time I got there at 6:30 in the morning until I was finally able to go home about 6:30 that evening with the emergency surgery also. Words cannot describe Rachel Garrett, she is a true DAISY Nurse.
