I was a patient at Jefferson for three weeks. All my nurses were extraordinary in their duties and daily assignments. The reason I am singling out Raeqah is because of what she did for me one evening. I was being prepared to be discharged. Fortunately, Raeqah drew my attention to the fact that several of the medications prescribed for me to take upon discharge needed to be clarified. Plus, the pharmacy at Jefferson closed at 7:30 p.m. that night. I would also be unable to get my medicines at Walgreens by that night.

Raeqah began contacting physicians assigned to my case to take corrective action. She continued to do this for at least an hour while checking on other patients, and coming back to me with updates when she could. Raeqah advocated for me so my medications could all be checked properly and everything set for my discharge. Her poise and dedication to her duties and desire to be helpful have moved me to recommend her for this award. Thank you, Raeqah!
