Randy Carroll redefined "patient care" for me and my family. He graciously extended his care to our family when my father-in-law was an ICU patient. As a chaplain and ethicist, I can assure you that Randy Carroll far exceeded his "job" responsibilities through his compassion, clear communication, and active listening skills. My mother-in-law wants to adopt him, and I think my wife wants to marry him! My father-in-law is not always a compliant patient, but we all want to do whatever Randy suggests. Randy is the best nurse I have ever had for a family member. He kept us informed at all times, answered all our questions thoroughly, and cared for our family as if we were his family members. He was very comforting and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to recommend local places to eat, ensure my mother's safety in traveling to and from the hospital, and ensuring my father's comfort while in ICU. Our whole family loves him!
