Becky is not only a wealth of knowledge to all nurses, but she is always willing to help out her coworkers at any time. Although I could speak for days about how many times she has helped me, one time, in particular, speaks volumes. I was in the middle of transitioning positions from working as charge nurse on the floor to unit educator. After a month or two of performing both jobs, it was beginning to wear on me physically and mentally not to mention I was finishing the last couple of weeks on my MSN degree. I had completely forgotten that I was supposed to work on this particular weekend that was approaching until I was reminded by my manager. I immediately broke down. Two of my children had games that Saturday and that Sunday there was a birthday party planned for my son. Without any hesitation, Becky jumped in and said she would work the weekend for me. I could have never thanked her enough. She was my saving grace. She was a true friend. I will always be thankful for all her support and help.
