Rebecca's patient went to the cath lab. Rebecca was wonderful with the family and patient all day. The patient was nervous all day before her heart catheterization and Rebecca was very helpful with answering questions for her and the family who was at the bedside. While in the cath lab, the patient did go into cardiac and respiratory arrest, with an Emory House called. Of course, we went over to help with the code, Rebecca was right there. After a successful Emory House, she was transferred to CVICU, intubated and with an impella. Rebecca continued to communicate with the family about her status and transfer, as the family stayed in our room while they finished in the cath lab and settled her in another unit. Apparently Rebecca brought the family breakfast this morning and checked in with them before her shift started. Rebecca is a wonderful nurse and an absolute treasure to work with. The patient's family informed our administration that they absolutely loved Rebecca
