When I first went to Nurse Amick, I was at the end of my rope. I had topped the scales at 429 lbs and felt I had no hope of ever losing weight. Rebekka showed love and compassion for my situation. After the first visit, I just felt she was going to help me make a difference in my life. She is such a positive, caring clinician; it was obvious her work was her passion.

She laid out a plan for my weight loss program, and I finally had hope. She worked patiently with me on a monthly basis, and she never gave up on me. Through medication, diet, and lifestyle changes, I was able to see results. She was as happy for me; each month I came back to see her. Even if it was a few pounds, she gave me hope. Sometimes she had to write letters to my insurance company for certain medication approval, and she never stopped until I was able to obtain the needed medication for my treatment.

Today, I weigh 170 lbs, and "We" did it together! She has literally saved my life, and I owe her so much.
