Renata recently had a patient who was just out of surgery and the patient had consistently elevated blood pressure. Renata educated and discussed with the patient and their family the importance of lowering their blood pressure. She was so caring and compassionate with all of them. She performed an excellent assessment, used critical thinking and addressed her concerns for the patient with the doctor. The physician respected her concerns and then collaborated on treatment and medications, which resulted in an excellent outcome for the patient.
