Renea might have saved this patient's life as the patient was being transferred to the floor from the ER. Renea looked through her chart and saw that she was a DNR and "meds only", yet a stress test had been ordered on this 89 year old woman. Renea called the physician and respectfully asked him about the stress test. He said absolutely NOT to have her do the stress test and thanked Renea for catching that order. Renea was overall helpful and took time to explain things to the patient.
