Restituto "Resti" Angeles was nominated by a patient who felt he was able to rest with ease during his two-night stay - all due to Resti's attentive and compassionate help.
As a night shift nurse, it is important to ensure patients are comfortable, so they can sleep well and recover quickly. Resti did just that with one of his recent patients who was recovering from hip replacement surgery.
"Resti is the best at moving patients with hip replacements. He'd come in and take me to the restroom with ease and efficiency. I'd get back into my sweet spot in bed with his help. Because of all his help, I was able to rest with ease."
The patient appreciated how Resti would consistently check on him, listen to him carefully and help manage his pain. He commended his kind and compassionate demeanor.
