From that point on, every time I walked into the room, Reydi was there, assisting the son with resources and information.
I would like to take the time to thank Reydi for his help and compassion with my patient. I had a patient who, unfortunately, had cancer and no insurance. Her young son was at the bedside on the phone all day with different companies trying to get his mom insurance. Reydi overheard the conversation with the son and gave him some tips and numbers to call. From that point on, every time I walked into the room, Reydi was there, assisting the son with resources and information. By the time the patient was discharged, the family had numerous resources, phone numbers, and names of companies that could help cancer patients with their bills. I could see the change in the son’s/patient's face by the time the patient was leaving. It was a look of less stress and more hope. All thanks to Reydi.
