My beloved wife was brought to your facility due to an unknown malady. Post ER work, she was admitted to the ICU the same evening. All your staff was very professional and attentive, but one member stood out head and shoulders above the crowd.
On our second day of the about three and a half day stay, we got to meet and work with Nurse Rhonda Davis. Rhonda is an excellent practitioner, showing attentive care for the patient and family members alike. When a procedure was to be performed, Rhonda would explain every aspect of said procedure, including how it was going to take place, why we were doing this, and the expected outcome, which allowed me to feel much more involved in the overall process. We were never left in the dark as to "why are they doing this."
I have deep gratitude for Rhonda and wanted to let you know what a marvelous asset you have on your hands. Please pass along my most sincere thanks and admiration to Rhonda for the superior care she gave to my spouse in her time of need.
We ran into an issue where the Red Cross needed to be contacted to get my son and his spouse here on emergency leave from Japan (they are USAF). Rhonda knew exactly who to contact to get that ball rolling and my kids were able to get to New Mexico in a timely fashion; I thank her for this as well.
Ultimately, my wife passed on due to complications beyond anyone's control. Rhonda was there until the very end to comfort and reassure that everything was proceeding as best as could be hoped for. Rhonda was able to provide sound sage advice when asked for, and for this, I'm also truly appreciative. Much requital to you and your staff, and especially to Rhonda for the very professional and caring service.
