Our wife, mother, and grandmother entered the hospital for care of an infection and amputation. During her care in the ICU, Rikki took every opportunity to extend compassion and concern for my wife as well as the family. Once my wife moved to the second floor Rikki stopped by on her way to start her shift. Rikki wanted to see how my wife and the family was doing. We were no longer under her care or on her floor, but she made it a point to check on my wife. This is nursing at it's finest!
