We had a patient's wife call to express her gratitude for the loving care that Robyn showed her while her husband was a patient in the ER. The patient had a long cardiac history and passed out in the car on the way in. His wife explained that the entire team was absolutely amazing at how fast they arrived to get her husband out of the car.
She repeated several times that she knew he was gone, but the team never gave up. She explained that Robyn's compassionate presence while she was waiting for the doctor to return meant more to her than she could explain.
At that moment she did not feel alone and had someone to go through this experience with. She voiced that God definitely had Robyn there that night for this purpose. Although her husband did not survive this heart condition, his wife definitely felt the healing presence of God.
This is a wonderful example of the Power of Presence. Robyn was truly present for this family member and it had a positive impact on a very difficult evening. Robyn demonstrated God's healing presence.
