Rodney is a clinical nurse on our floor and is often in the Charge Nurse role. Rodney absolutely amazes me every time I work with him. He never stops, and he goes above and beyond in everything he does. 

He rarely sits down. Instead, he is doing every task imaginable. I see Rodney down the hall putting linen bags outside each room, then I see him pulling the cart around and restocking isolation gowns, then he’s changing needle boxes. He’s in the supply room putting together admission supplies and then going to the empty rooms to set them up. He is constantly checking on everyone and asking if they need help, and diving in up to his elbows if need be. 

He is eager to learn and grow his practice. He wants to see anything new. Another nurse and I went to a different floor to anchor a corpak and Rodney wanted to go, too, just to see. We on 6 North are so lucky to have Rodney. I just wanted to say what an awesome, amazing job he is doing as well as what an awesome role model he is. And he’s just a doggone nice guy!
