Ronda was nominated by her patient who wrote:
“While I was in the hospital from July 27 to Aug 1 I wanted to say everyone treated me with respect and dignity. Everyone was super nice to me and if I needed anything I was answered promptly. I did want to point out a great nurse, Ronda Cornett. I had her from Thursday until Sunday. She is a great nurse and an even better person. If there is any award you all give out, she deserves it. She was very nice, took the time to learn about me, and spoke to me and actually cared about me as a person. She opened up to me about family and I know she is a great mother as well. She is a very hard worker because the first night I was sick at my stomach a lot and she gave me medicine and checked on me regularly. She was even worried about me each time I was awake and couldn’t sleep. I was always happy to see her each night and I was glad to have the consistency of her presence. Ms. Ronda checked on me hourly and always made sure I wasn’t in pain or sick. She is a very good nurse and a lot of others could learn a lot from her. I want to thank you and your staff for treating me good and just wanted to let you know that Ronda stood out from the rest and that you are all doing a very good job.”
