Today I felt compelled to write a commendation for Ronna, the nurse who assisted me and my husband after his surgery. She made us feel welcomed and comfortable and explained and answered all our questions. She provided excellent customer service and represented Kaiser Permanente in the best way possible. I was admitted in April for sickle cell crisis. The first couple of days during a crisis are always the worst, but my nurse Ronna provided the best care that can be given. Ronna is empathetically compassionate, which allows her to anticipate pain control accurately. Ronna was always there when I called for her in a timely fashion, which is key to regulating most of the pain that is associated with a crisis. Ronna's nursing care was excellent, and I am so grateful for having her as my nurse. She was never rushed and took the time to comfort and communicate through all my needs.

Ronna was the best nurse we had! She was very informed and answered every question, and very gentle. She helped educate me on diabetes and even had a teacher to come help me to be more knowledgeable of how to take care of myself. Thanks Ronna.
