Rose was fantastic, kind, and calm, made you feel welcome, had great stories, just wonderful! She explained things clearly and calmly. No detail or question was too small. It felt like she had all the time in the world for our silly questions. Having surgery can be stressful. She made it the opposite. I was at The Lister for an egg collection day procedure. Rose was meticulous, methodical, and caring from the very start explaining everything that I was to expect and checking at every step of the way that I was feeling well and looked after. My worries went away because I felt that I was clearly in Rose’s safe hands. She was also funny! She put both me and my partner at ease. I wish we could have stayed longer to chat with Rose. Rose looked after me during my day case admission and was incredibly caring - looking out for my every need but moreover putting me at ease and making me laugh during a stressful/emotional time.
