I nearly died as a result of a spontaneous hemorrhage 9 days postpartum after the birth of my first child. The experience was very scary and stressful, especially because I was unable to help care for my baby during my immediate recovery. When I met Rose, I had been in the hospital for about 12 hours, and I was hating every minute of it. I hadn’t slept, was in all kinds of physical and emotional pain, and felt extremely scared, beaten down, and vulnerable. Thank God for Rose. She really turned things around for me. She never missed an opportunity to encourage me and tell me how good I was doing. I had never felt more disgusting and helpless, but she treated me with such compassion and respect. She helped me the way a mother would help her daughter. She truly cared. I still tear up just remembering how kind she was to me, and how much I needed it. By the time I was discharged, I was actually starting to feel better, and it wasn’t because of any medication - it was because Rose helped me to feel human again. I will never forget how she hugged me before I left. I believe God places people in our lives for a reason, and even though I only knew her for a day, I will always love Rose for the way she helped me. Some people might say she was just doing her job, but I disagree. She didn’t just do her job that day, she restored my spirit along with my body.

Rose was the best nurse I’ve ever had. She was so kind, funny, and comforting while I was in premature labor with my twins at 32 weeks. She absolutely went above and beyond.

She talks to you like a friend instead of a patient and makes you feel comfortable. She also has a great sense of humor.

She went above and beyond every day for the 5 days I was on the unit to ensure I was properly cared for. She is a hardworking woman with the best personality!
