I want to thank these nurses who went above and beyond to take care of me before and after my surgery. It was extremely stressful going into this procedure not knowing what to expect and never having any surgical procedures done at JFK Hospital. In addition, not being able to have my boyfriend there to comfort me because of the restrictions put in place by COVID.
The staff not only did their jobs, but they went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and helped me in any manner I needed. They even went to the extent of just listening and showing me that I was not alone. Never leaving me alone. I cannot thank them enough. It truly takes a special person to go above and beyond as they did for me. Knowing that they do this for everyone truly takes a remarkable caring and professional person with hearts of gold. Thank you so much for all you do for us when we are so vulnerable, scared, and feeling helpless.
