Ross Kressa is an essential asset to the IMC team due to his unique blend of compassion, expertise, and adaptability. Ross should be celebrated because he is the true definition of a nurse. He is caring, compassionate, understanding and has heart. All of his patients always tell me how great he is that they never have to even use their call lights because he comes in frequently to check on them. He helps his fellow nurses doing IVs or helping them with their patient care; and is always willing to stay over or pick up an extra shift to help when we are short staffed. A wonderful and caring person, Ross deserves recognition.

Ross is a great strength to the IMC unit. He not only is a strong critical care nurse but is a compassionate team member. Ross has always made himself available to anyone that needs help on the unit or when the unit needs a RN to stay over or come in early. He also is compassionate towards his patients as well as team members. Whether the patient is his assigned patient or not, he is always offering to help with patient care any time. IMC is lucky to have him.

A patient ‘s spouse had glowing comments for Ross about how caring and attentive he is. This is typical Ross; he has been with RCH about a year as a new grad and he just shines when he is here. Wish we could clone him!

Ross is an exceptional nurse and takes great care of his patients. It’s nothing but extremely good compliments from visitors and his patients say he is very caring, attentive and exemplifies the meaning of nursing. Yesterday, I had a patient’s wife come up to me and tell me how great they were, that they didn’t have to wait for anything - he was always right there for them. They never had to push their call light once because he was always coming back into the room to check on them. These are the comments I usually get when rounding on patients about his nursing care.
