Ms. Rowena Isnari has stayed with us for more than nine years and is one of our most reliable seniors in the ward. In those years she has been consistent with her performance and somebody that we can strongly rely on. Her Arabic is excellent and because of this she is able to explain the patients' condition well and she does it very patiently not only to her patient but to other sisters as well.
When patients request to recheck their vital signs or even hear the FHT even not in due time of checking, she gives in to their requests just to allay their anxiety. She is amazingly patient with them and thinks of their benefit and not whether she will finish her duty on time. She does not show signs of irritation to her patients and even to other patients' requests. She does not refuse them and speaks to them nicely.
She understands the complexities of cases and goes beyond the call of duty for birthing mothers by remaining calm and compassionate at all times. She sees to it that all her patients are to be seen according to priorities and needs and treated fairly. What is also good with her, she knows how and what to anticipate even before the doctor's order, she already knows what to do to her patients. That is why the work is fast and systematic.
Due to her personality, her presence at work brings joy to everyone together with her ability to empathize with patients and co-workers alike. She is a consistently good, well-mannered person. She is also very cooperative with us especially when we are in a shortage of one or two staff is having an emergency, she covers them without complaints. Her dedication to her work should be recognized and be one of the role models. There's a lot more to tell good things about her and I'm happy to share.
Nominating Rowena has been a long time coming and nominating her now is a well-deserved chance. She is a true DAISY Nurse for all her sacrifices, hard work, and genuine service.
