Sally was assigned to my mother upon applying for AR CHOICES in-home care assistance. My mother is now 88 years old, and care needs have increased over the years. Sally has never failed to answer calls, offer advice and assistance, and creatively and lovingly offer ideas. It is stressful at least going through the Medicaid assistance process, and it would be impossible without someone like Sally. She is patient with our mom, who now has early Alzheimer's Ds. Sometimes, we forget Sally has many, many patients and their families to visit and assist. She always makes us feel we are her priority. I believe her job is pretty solitary in that her goodness is not observed in an environment like a hospital where her superiors, other staff, etc., can witness who she is and what she does. Sometimes, the only reviews a facility or Nurse gets are negative, with people failing to recognize goodness... Please Please consider honoring Sally Carson with the DAISY Award.
