Sam is seriously the BEST nurse, and I feel so lucky to have her taking care of me and my foot. Sam’s skill level is top notch for wound care dressing, and her sense of humor and compassion for her patients is very evident. After five surgeries, three hospital stays, three ER visits and five months of would clinic visits, I can personally say that Sam is the best at deciding what products and care a wound needs and individualizing that care to every patient. I have had countless doctors, residents, nurses and would specialists put the dressing on my foot and Sam shows her skill and knowledge with the precision and problem-solving skills she uses every time to go to see her. She worked with wound vacs sealing around toes, a latex allergy and infection for nearly five months with a smile every time. Even when things didn’t go as planned and I was on my way back to Greeley for surgery, there was always a text or phone call waiting for me with a pep talk and asking how I was doing. Sam treated me and my foot, she always looked at me as a person. I feel like Sam changed the trajectory of my life with her skill and care. I had an infection in my foot and leg that was persistent. I feel like Sam’s skill and knowledge saved my foot and let me continue to work and live my life to the fullest. Thank you, Sam!
