I was transferred to STU and Sam was my nurse. I would like to say that all the staff on the unit are very professional, but Sam is really something special. From the first moment he made me feel at ease. He is very caring and competent, talking to me, explaining everything and answering all my questions, checking on me often to make sure that I am well. I was diagnosed with bradycardia and was waiting for a pacemaker. Sam was very calm and he treated me like I was the most important patient and I am thankful for that. At the same time, he was working very well as a team member.
