Sandy tended to my mother for days and gave her extra care and attention. It is difficult to say everything she did, but her knowledge and skill along with her bedside manner were outstanding. She explained the medication and procedures that made it easy for me to understand. I can't say enough about this outstanding nurse. She is GREAT!

Sandy took care of my mom. She showed her love and compassion. I think one of the things that stuck out to me was how she spoke to her while she was on life support. She treated mom like she was wide awake and could have responded. She told her everything she was going to do to her. She also explained it to us, her family. She answered all our questions; she made us feel like everything was going to be ok. Whenever we got scared, she would let us know it was normal! I have to be honest, we almost lost mom, but having Sandy there made the stay bearable. I won't ever be able to thank her enough for her love and compassion.
