Reflecting on my pregnancy journey with Grand Lake is a bittersweet experience, especially as I'm unsure if this will be my last baby. While I've gone through this process four times before, each pregnancy is unique and presents its own challenges. Nurse Sanjuanita was truly my guardian angel the night I gave birth. The care she provided was more than I ever realized I needed at the time. She calmed my fears and made me feel completely safe.

Even months later, I still think back to that night when we welcomed our baby, remembering how she made me feel. I was overwhelmed by everything that had happened, but she stayed by my side, speaking to me calmly, reassuring me, and making me feel deeply cared for. Her confidence in her care and in the situation gave me the peace of mind that I was in good hands. Sanjuanita's genuine love and compassion for her work and her patients is clear in everything she does. She is truly remarkable, and because of her, and the exceptional prenatal care I received from Dr. T and her staff, we will continue to choose Grand Lake Health System. I have six children, and I know each one is a blessing. Although I was sad that Dr. T wouldn't be on call for this delivery, I found comfort in the care of this amazing nurse.
