Sara showed the compassion that is so hard to find these days. She was there from the time my doctor told me my twin boys no longer had heartbeats, to moving me to Labor and Delivery, to coming to see me on her day off the next day to check in on me. She made me feel more than being a patient in her job. She listened when I cried, hugged me when I needed it, and stood in silence with me when I just needed her there. Seeing people like her who love their job and show that amount of compassion, makes me remember why I chose to become a nurse. She was beyond amazing and I will never forget the care we received during the worst day of our lives.
