Our family faced a very heart-wrenching situation when one of my sons was brought to the ER. Sarah was the nurse on duty, and when she came out to visit with me and my other son, she was very compassionate, listened attentively, and showed sincere empathy, sharing a glimpse of her own experience related to what we were going through. She was very supportive and reassuring that she would do everything she could in hopes that we would have the best outcome. She most definitely has the heart, passion, and dedication needed to be a nurse, and I truly believe that God put her in the right place at the right time and knew my family would need to hear her words of hope and encouragement. I cannot begin to express my thankfulness for giving a part of herself beyond her duties as a nurse in our time of need. My son, who was being treated, also had wonderful things to say about Sarah and wants to give his thanks to her for all she did to help him through this very terrifying and life-changing experience.
