Sarah's attention to the needs of the patient and baby was extraordinary. She explained everything she was doing before she did it and as she was doing it. She listened to the patient and was very reassuring to the patient and family. Sarah encouraged the help and participation of family members as she provided care to the patient. She did what she could to make the patient comfortable during early labor, while keeping a close eye on the baby. She encouraged various positions through the induction process to support laboring and was very calming to the mother when the decision was made to have a c-section. After the delivery, Sarah remained with mom, baby, and dad to support the new family unit. Sarah is an amazing nurse!
